Community Development

In January 2025, Nabatara’s Visually Impaired Program empowered 300+ individuals with Braille kits, mobility training, and job placements. Disabilities became stepping stones, not barriers.

We distributed white canes, screen readers, and Braille slates. Workshops taught daily living skills, while IT training enabled jobs in transcription and customer service. Partner companies hired 50+ candidates, fostering inclusivity.

“Blindness isn’t darkness—it’s a different way of seeing. Your support taught Braille, gifted canes, and opened doors to independence. Together, we’re proving that ability shines brighter than disability.”

Skill-Based Training

Tailored courses in massage therapy, music, and IT opened employment avenues. Mock interviews and LinkedIn workshops built confidence. 70% of trainees secured jobs within 6 months, breaking stereotypes.

Accessible Education

Braille textbooks and audio lessons helped 120+ students continue schooling. Teachers learned inclusive teaching methods, while parents attended workshops to support their children’s academic journeys.

Community Advocacy

Awareness rallies challenged societal biases. Podcasts by visually impaired individuals shared success stories, inspiring others. Public spaces added tactile pathways, promoting safer mobility

300+ lives transformed. Jobs secured, classrooms opened, and society learned to see beyond sight.

Vision Beyond Sight

Your generosity turned challenges into triumphs. Each Braille slate and job offer carried your belief in their potential. Kolkata now sees ability, not disability. Thank you for lighting their path.
