General Questions

What are the Star Achievement Awards?

The Star Achievement Awards celebrate individuals and organizations making extraordinary contributions in fields like astrology, healthcare, education, art, and entrepreneurship. Founded by Nabatara Foundation, these awards honor those who lead with passion, creativity, and a commitment to positive change. Whether you’re a numerology expert decoding cosmic patterns, a social activist transforming villages, or a yoga guru promoting wellness, this is your stage to shine. Winners receive government-approved certificates, personalized mementos, and digital recognition, amplifying their impact and inspiring others. Think of it as a celebration of unsung heroes and trailblazers rewriting the rules of success.

Who can nominate or be nominated?

Anyone! You can nominate yourself, a colleague, a mentor, or even an organization doing remarkable work. We welcome entries from astrologers, artists, doctors, entrepreneurs, teachers, NGOs, and startups. For example, a village teacher using innovative methods, a nurse running free clinics, or a small business empowering artisans—all qualify. If your work impacts lives, solves problems, or sparks joy, you belong here. There’s no age or experience barrier—passion and purpose matter most.

What categories are included in the awards?

We cover diverse fields to ensure every talent gets recognition:

Spiritual Sciences: Astrology, Numerology, Vastu, Tarot, Tantra.

Social Impact: Healthcare, Education, Environmental Activism.

Lifestyle: Fitness, Yoga, Beauty, Art, Entertainment.

Business: Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Startups, CSR Initiatives.

Special Categories: Innovators under 25, Women Leaders, Lifetime Achievers. For instance, last year’s winners included a teen coding prodigy, a rural midwife saving mothers, and a chef reviving forgotten recipes. Nominate in the category that best fits your journey!

What do winners receive?

Winners get:

Government-Approved Certificate: MCA-recognized credential for credibility.

Personalized Memento: A handcrafted trophy or artwork symbolizing your achievement.

Digital Badge: Share your win on LinkedIn, websites, or emails.

Social Media Spotlight: Featured on Nabatara’s platforms reaching 500k+ followers.

Networking Opportunities: Invites to exclusive events with industry leaders. For example, last year’s Best Social Activist won a documentary feature, while the Top Astrologer gained clients nationwide after being showcased in our newsletter.

How are winners selected?

A panel of respected judges—senior astrologers, healthcare experts, educators, and entrepreneurs—evaluates entries based on:

Impact: How your work improves lives (e.g., students educated, patients treated).

Innovation: Unique approaches to solving problems.

Sustainability: Long-term benefits of your efforts.

Community Feedback: Testimonials from those you’ve helped. For instance, a nominee’s organic farming training for 200 villagers scored high for sustainability, while a cancer survivor’s support group won for community impact.

Is there a nomination fee?

No! Nominations are completely free to ensure inclusivity. We believe financial constraints shouldn’t block deserving candidates. Once your nomination is shortlisted, a nominal fee applies for awards and certificates. Every rupee Nabatara raises funds our social initiatives, ensuring impact across education and healthcare.

How do I submit a nomination?

Visit our website’s nomination page, pick a category, and share:

Your Story: Explain your work, challenges, and impact (500 words or a 2-minute video).

Proof of Work: Photos, testimonials, or media clips.

Contact Details: For follow-ups. For example, a teacher shared videos of her students’ science projects, while a farmer sent pictures of his climate-resistant crops. Need help? Email us at awards@nabatarafoundation.org!

When is the nomination deadline?

Nominations open on 1st January and close on 30th June yearly. Results are announced in October during a grand ceremony in Kolkata. Late entries? Don’t worry—we occasionally accept rolling nominations for urgent causes, like disaster relief heroes. Follow our social media for updates!

Can startups or small businesses participate?

Absolutely! Startups and SMEs are celebrated in our Emerging Entrepreneur and Innovative SME categories. For example, a Kolkata-based eco-friendly packaging startup won for reducing plastic waste, while a rural women’s handicraft collective gained national buyers after being shortlisted. Your scale doesn’t define your impact—your vision does.

What happens after nomination?

First, our team reviews your submission. If shortlisted, we’ll interview you (via call or video) to dive deeper into your work. You might be asked for additional details, like client testimonials or project reports. Finalists are notified in September and invited to the awards ceremony. Even if you don’t win, your story will be shared in our newsletter, inspiring others.

Can I attend the awards ceremony?

Yes! Finalists get free invites to the ceremony, including travel and stay support if needed. It’s a vibrant evening of music, speeches, and networking. Past attendees call it “a festival of hope”—where healers, artists, and innovators share stories under one roof. Can’t attend? We’ll live-stream the event on YouTube and Facebook.

How does winning benefit my career/business?

Winning boosts credibility and visibility. Past winners saw:

New Opportunities: A yoga guru got invited to international wellness summits.

Media Features: A rural educator was covered by leading newspapers.

Community Trust: An astrologer’s client base grew by 300%.

Funding: NGOs received grants after showcasing their awards. You’ll also join our alumni network for mentorship and collaborations. Think of it as a launchpad, not just an award.
