Rescuing and Healing Animals

In June 2024, Nabatara’s Animal Rescue Program treated 300+ injured strays across Kolkata. From dogs with fractures to malnourished cows, we provided urgent care and loving homes.

Our team rescued animals from accidents, abuse, and neglect. Vets performed 150+ surgeries, while foster families nursed recovering pets. Adoption drives found homes for 80+ animals, and sterilizations controlled stray populations. Schools joined awareness rallies to promote kindness toward animals.

Emergency Rescue Squads

Dedicated teams responded to distress calls 24/7. Ambulances equipped with first aid saved 50+ critically injured animals within the “golden hour,” drastically improving survival rates.

Community Sterilization Drives

Free sterilization camps reduced stray populations humanely. Local feeders were trained to identify sick animals, ensuring early intervention. 200+ dogs and cats were sterilized in 2023.

Youth Awareness

School workshops used games and stories to teach compassion. Kids created “animal buddy” clubs, reporting abuse cases and raising funds for treatments.

300+ animals healed, 80+ adopted. Streets are safer, communities kinder, and strays find love instead of fear.
